What is Angel Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key), is Japanese healing technique is a system of Enlightenment and a Hands on Healing art developed in the early 1900′s by Mikao Usui in Japan. It is an art that is passed from Master to student.

The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words – Rei and Ki, meaning Spiritual Energy; the term “Reiki” is used to describe both the energy and the Usui system of using it.

The original system by Usui was called Usui Reiki Ryoho. It helps to reduce stress, aid pain relief, enhance relaxation and promote health and wellbeing.

It is based on the principle that an unseen life force energy flows through every living thing. Reiki can either be given at a distance or by the practitioner placing their hands on or slightly above the client.

Angel Reiki is a form of Reiki where the Archangels are called upon to assist in the healing. There are four primary Archangels called upon during Angel Reiki treatments, Archangel Raphael, the ‘shining one who heals’, Archangel Gabriel, the ‘hero’, Archangel Michael, he ‘Who is as God’ and Archangel Uriel, ‘the face of God’.

What will happen during an appointment?
To the observer Angel Reiki looks very much like a massage or touch therapy but Angel Reiki does not require touch. The Angel Reiki Practitioner will place their hands on or above the client’s body from head to toe in various positions. The Angel Reiki energy passes through them and into the client’s body. Angel Reiki treatments generally last for 60 minutes, although sometimes a longer treatment will be required depending on the individual need of the client. Your first appointment will usually last around 90 minutes as it will include a comprehensive consultation which will cover lifestyle, medication and medical history to establish your current state of health and determine how treatment will proceed. Clients may feel heat, cold or tingling sensations during the treatment.
